Dionex ASE extraction technology (Accelerated Solvent Extraction) consists of the use of static 100 bar pressure at appropriate temperature to increase the extraction yield with the minimum operation and solvent. The extract is recovered in filtered form and could be directly used for chemical or biological investigation. The pilot-scale prototype Zippertex reproduces the ASE conditions with the possibility of easily modifying the pressure from 1 to 150 bar and the temperature from -10 to +240°C. Zippertex is available in 1 L, 4 L and 10 L capacity. Zippertex is also considered as a subcritical water extraction unit. Full information is available at www.zippertex.com.
