Partner Description
iMare Natural is a spin-off company of the University of Granada . It is a limited liability society (iMare Natural S.L.), registered with Tax Identification Code B-19503044 at Avda. de la Habana nº10, CP18600, Motril, Granada and was registered on 20th September of 2012.
Its main objectives are to develop and optimise techniques for the production, breeding, rearing and fattening of any susceptible species of marine invertebrates and salty plants (halophytes) for aquaculture, as well as optimization techniques for the extraction of natural, drug and biotech products based on these.
Imare Natural S.L. is focused on improving methods for the culture of marine invertebrate species and aquaponics, incorporating techniques to reach a sustainable integrated multitrophic aquaculture (IMTA).
Role
iMare plays a key role in TASCMAR through the management of bio-resources in Work Package 1 and through Work Package 4 (cultivation improvements). They also contribute to Work Package 8.
