PIERRE GUERIN SAS (PGT) is an internationally prominent industrial company specialising in the manufacture and design of cultivation devices, including fermenters and bioreactors integrating innovative features for mixing, agitation, thermal and oxygen transfer, illumination and cleaning-in-place.
PGT will provide Biotech expertise and relevant equipment for applications in Marine Bioculture. We will bring to the project our assistance in collecting researchers’ data and needs and providing them with original ideas and improvements of existing tools and equipment in the field of marine micro-organism cultivation. By working closely with the network of scientists we aim to design innovative equipment, more adapted to the process, build prototypes and develop pilot scale systems meeting industrial production constraints and requirements. The present project will offer to our organisation the opportunity to develop all of the above skills and systems in order to enlarge our know-how and expertise to a field of applications which we would not otherwise be able to achieve.
